KNOW GOD’S WILL
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.”
Psalm 127:1 (NKJV)
Main Text: Colossians 1:9-22
What a time of monumental decisions and changes we’re living in. if there ever was a day when you and I must know the will and purpose of God for our lives, it is now. In fact, nothing else is going to work! God is changing and rearranging things, lining them up for the end time move of the Spirit. If you’re going to keep up, you must know God’s perfect plan for your life and how to execute it by His power.
It’s important we spend time praying in the Spirit. God has provided us a prayer in His Word that we can use to receive the wisdom and understanding we need for this critical time we live in. you’ll find this in Colossians 1:9-11.
That’s where most failure in Christian endeavors come. We get a glimpse of God’s will for our lives in the spirit but then we end up messing things up by trying to carry it out in the flesh. Instead of letting the Lord build the house in His power, we try to build it ourselves and end up doing it all in vain. Don’t make that mistake in the days ahead, it’s a prayer you can be sure God will answer.
Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, I ask that the eyes of my understanding be enlightened and I become sensitive and obedient to your will in Jesus name. Amen.
