PROSPERITY THROUGH THE BLOOD
“Saying with a loud voice, worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.”
Revelation 5:12 (KJV)
Main Text:
Most believers believe that poverty is a virtue and prosperity is evil. This kind of ideology has its lifeline on ignorance Hos 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” God wants us to be rich and prosperous. This is why He became poor on the Cross so that we might be made rich. 2 Cor 8:9 “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.”
Jesus didn’t live in poverty during His life on the earth, He only became poor on the Cross. He was rich enough to have a treasurer; He was rich enough that this treasurer was often tempted to steal from His moneybag. Poverty is a bad thing – it’s effects are terrible; it makes people suffer. Poverty is not a virtue but a curse!
Poverty was not created by God, it only entered into man’s life after the fall. Poverty is a curse, when man fell into sin, God pronounced judgement upon him – that all areas of his life will be affected – marriage, family and finances. In Gen 3:17-19 we see how it affects man’s financial life. God sent Jesus to the cross so you don’t have to be broke another day in your life, He mad Him your blessing, wisdom, riches, glory, strength, honor and power!
Confession: I am blessed, I prosper in all I lay my hands on, the blessing of the Lord is in me, I am empowered to succeed, I am a success, I am excellent, I thrive in all I set to do, glory to God!

Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV) “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”
