WRITE IT DOWN
“And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.”
Habakkuk 2:2-4 (KJV)
Main Text:
A lot of people talk about having vision for their lives, but they don’t understand the process or journey of a vision. They say God has given them a dream about something, however, as time goes on they lose track of it.
God’s Word encourages us to write down the vision as soon as you grasp what your vision is. God wants you to write your vision down because He wants you to focus on what He has already revealed. He doesn’t want you loosing track of it. Prov 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”
The enemy doesn’t want you to keep track of your vision. He wants to distract you from it. He wants to substitute a different vision so that you become discouraged and diverted. However, if you’ve written it down, you can remember what God spoke to your heart and you can go back to that point of reference and remind yourself what God said.
Prayer: Abba Father, thank you for revealing your will for my life to me, I will achieve all you have set for me in this land of the living in Jesus name. Amen.
