THE PEACE OF GOD

“Into whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace be to this house.’” ????????????
Luke 10:5 (WEB)????????
Main Text: John 14:27

Peace is the result of casting our cares upon the Lord through prayer and thanksgiving. Through Faith we cast our cares on the Lord, then we enjoy the peace of God. Christians who are lacking God’s peace have not taken their cares to the Lord and left them there. The way the world is right now, the structures and systems of the world that’s driven by selfishness, wickedness, greed and hatred is designed by Satan. The implication of this is that the systems and structures of this world can never give peace. Peace is from God, just as righteousness is from God.

All Christians have peace. It is a fruit of the Spirit that is always present in our born again spirits. If we are too focused on our troubles/cares, they will blind us to God’s peace. If you study Christ in the Word, you’d observe that His life, while He walked the earth, was a demonstration of peace! He was never perturbed or disturbed by anything that may raise concerns! (John 2:1-11)

When we eliminate the cares, peace flows.

Being carnally minded doesn’t just tend towards death — it is death. Likewise, being spiritually minded doesn’t just tend towards life— it is life and peace. True peace which comes from God, only comes by grace through faith. God has given us His supernatural peace to enjoy.

Confession

I keep my mind, heart and spirit focused on the Lord and His promises. I walk in God’s supernatural peace today by the power of the Spirit within me.
