THE HOPE OF GLORY
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory
Colossians 1;27
Main Text:
Beloved, it is important that we have certain truths burned on our hearts so that we may attain what has been laid ahead of us. Christ in you means you have the hope of glory as pointed out in the above-mentioned scripture. Now, what is this hope? Hope makes us to look at any situation regardless of what is happening presently and be certain that what God has said will eventually come through for us. The hope that we talk about has a certainty attached to it and that is what makes it worth holding on to.
The hope that produces glory is not a wishful one; God and His Word are the objects of our hope. According to I Peter 1:3, the quality of this hope is such that it is a living hope, growing and productive with a scope that is beyond this present life and this is why we wait for it patiently. What guarantees this hope is the infallibility of the Word of God thus, if you must experience the glory this year and beyond, you must feed your spirit with the written word of God.
Why is it certain that the Word will come through thus making our hope a reality? It is because our God is faithful. The God that made the promises that gave birth to the hope in us is an ever faithful and unchanging One. Build your relationship with the Father of Glory today through His Word and you will see your hope in His promises coming to pass.
Confession: I am a New Creation, I walk in the reality of my newfound status in Christ, I cannot be a liability, I am an asset, an answer to the cry of the world, I am a solution provider, I am blessed of the Lord! Praise God.
