THE BENEFIT OF PRAYING
“Now Jesus was telling the disciples a parable to make the point that at all times they ought to pray and not give up and lose heart.”
Luke 18:1 (AMP)
Main Text: Main text: Jeremiah 33:3
Focusing on God through prayer involves directing our attention towards Him. God is ever-present, by our side, and willing to hear our prayers. Prayer is a universal practice, accessible to anyone, anytime, and anywhere. Prayer is the act of fostering a reciprocal spiritual relationship where we communicate with Him and also open ourselves to His guidance. It resembles the genuine and straightforward conversations a child has with their father, seeking not only their needs but also valuable advice and direction.
Prayer stands as a crucial element in our connection with God, serving as the channel through which we commune with the Spirit of the Divine. The advantages of prayer are boundless. It serves as a compass, guiding us to find direction and purpose in life. One of the most profound advantages of prayer lies in its essence as communication with our Father. The beauty of engaging in dialogue with our Heavenly Father is that He is ever-present, consistently communicating with us, provided we are open and receptive to His voice.
In life, there are many voices, but when we separate ourselves from the noise, we are able to hear directly from our heavenly father who has our best interest at heart. Proverbs 18:1 “Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.” Prayer opens up to the wisdom of God. Take advantage of this prayer season, and open your year for an unusual harvest.
Prayer:
Father in the name of Jesus, I love your presence and the spirit of Prayer is released to me, amen!
