YOU ARE RICH

Money is a defensive weapon (Eccl. 7:12). Riches certainly make themselves wings, and they fly away like eagles to heaven (Prov 23:5). The first message of Jesus Christ was to preach good tidings to the poor (Luke. 4:18). Certainly, a gospel of prosperity. God first of all wants you to prosper, and then be in good health, even as you have a prosperous soul (III John 2). Therefore, beloved, even if the three basic necessities of life – food, house, clothes –are still your problem and the ability to breathe in and out is only what you enjoy, then you must be thankful for your rich life. Some people are paying for oxygen to keep them alive.

  However, as recorded in our further reading of today, money failed in Egypt. May money not fail us in our family in Jesus’ name. To be prosperous, you need a positive mental attitude, a strong desire for riches, a wealth mentality, and big dreams. What are your goals in this May? Do you still want to be a beggar or eat from my hand to mouth? Whatever your decision, the ability is in you and what is needed is to work out the dreams in you.

  In all your quest for prosperity, never forget that all true wealth comes from Jehovah Jireh, the Great Provider because He gives us power to make wealth (Deut. 8:18). On your own part, do something. You need work in your hand that God will bless. Whatever just work your hands find doing, please do it diligently.

However, never plan to dupe others in order to enrich yourself. Every crooked means to amass wealth is a sin and no sinner shall go unpunished according to God. Work out your wealth in the way of the Lord and God shall surely bless the work of your hand this 2019.

Prayer: Let me prosper in what I am doing now O Lord
