SURVIVING THE STORMS

“And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.”
Luke 8:24
Main Text:

The journey of life is unpredictable and challenging. From the womb to all the facets that bring man to his desired destination are wars and battles that could either make strong the man or terminate his dreams unexpectedly. Storms aren’t funny occurrences. They rage over all but God is able to calm every storm provided we are ready to yield our hearts and lives to His methods and principles. As we move through each of the phases of life, it appears the battle is over but every overcomer has a testimony to share of battles and storms in their various endeavours. You will never come out a winner if you have not confronted the storms of your life. Winning is always very challenging especially when you have to fight solo. Fighting the battles of your life without the help of God is nothing but frustration and a journey in futility. God is your best support and help, your pillar and the lifter of your head. With God on your side, your problems shall surely become issues of the past. You must be ready to face the storms, you can’t escape having them but thanks be to Jesus, He said: be of good cheer, He has conquered the world for your sake.  (John 16:33).

You must be strong in the Lord and in the word of His grace to face the challenges of life. This is not the time to give up or surrender to that battle in your marriage, finance and most especially on your job. You can win that battle. Jesus is able to rebuke the storms for your sake and there shall be a great calm. You need to brace up and confess your victory before the devil and his cohorts. “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might...” Ephesians 6:10-11

Prayer: I refuse to give up on grace and I will come out a winner in Jesus mighty name.
