A LITTLE CAN SPOIL YOUR WHOLE
“Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?â€
1 Corinthians 5:6
Main Text:
One step after the other, we move progressively in life. Rain will always start with raindrops and as the saying goes, ‘Rome was not build in a day’. Every stage and aspect of human life starts with a little step, action, and deed. Your growth is a process of little additions. The destruction of many also start with a little disobedience to the word of God and wise counsel. You must be very careful of what happens to your destiny per time. Don’t allow anything to take you unawares. You must be able to take responsibility for everything you do and for allowing what you allow to happen to your destiny. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” (1 Peter 5:8). There will always be room for little additions and subtractions as you proceed in life. You can only allow what will benefit your destiny. Not everything brings profit and because we live in a world of cruelty, you need to be very careful not to give in to sins again. Galatians 2:4-5. Don’t allow anything or anyone even the standards of men to derail you from the truth. Be careful what you hear, where you go, what you read and the company you keep. If you live carelessly, in no little time you can lose your salvation. Don’t allow this little ‘it doesn’t matter’ syndrome which is an end time spiritual plague to destroy your eternal joy. Separate yourself from every little leaven that is capable of spreading like a virus to the detriment of your spiritual growth. A viral disease only needs to penetrate any part of life and spread like a wildfire if not attended to. Give place to the Word of God at every moment of your life.
Prayer: Don’t allow the devil to creep into my privacy for any reason but keep me far from all his deceits
