BEWARE OF FALSE BRETHREN 1
“And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:â€
Galatians 2:4
Main Text:
It’s not everybody in Church that’s actually a member of the body of Christ. The Church is the body of Christ on the earth and we celebrate ourselves as His Body. The writer of Hebrews quoted correctly when he was talking about the composition of the people you have come to meet each time you appear in Church – both earthly and heavenly. The Bible says: “But ye are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.” (Hebrews 12:22-24).
Now, the body of Christ (the Church) is one of the best places you can ever be per time and a place you must always crave and yearn to remain. God is always there to answer the prayers of His people and as you continually put it to heart to sincerely attend each of those services in your local assembly, I see God rendering unto you all that you require to make it here on earth and also to be eternally successful.
In like manner, you also find among the people of God, certain sect which are neither prepared to make it to heaven nor ready to get things improved for themselves on the earth. They aim at innocent hearts to corrupt them into rebellion and also fault the order and principles of Christ thereby making men to lose their godly ground. These folks are the false brethren and simply put, the wolves in sheep clothing which must be spotted and avoided wherever you go
Prayer: O Lord, I will not be deceived into strange teachings
