DON’T BE CARNALLY MINDED2

You can only get better spiritually if you daily feed yourself with the word of God and with constant and ceaseless fellowship with the Holy Spirit. "... to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity [the enemy of, in opposition to] against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, [and cannot] be. So then they that are in the flesh [or in the world, of the world's system] cannot please God" (Romans 8:6-8).

“And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.” (1 Corinthians 3:1).

What’s your current state as a believer? Are you still living carnally or spiritually? Remember you cannot stay on the fence. It’s either you are on the Lord’s side or on the devil’s side. If you are carnally minded, you are still very far from God and cannot but be controlled by the flesh. “For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” (Galatians 5:17).

Who is controlling your life? The Lord through His words or the devil through the dictates of the flesh and worldly lusts. If you are truly spiritual, it will show and the world around you will testify that you are born of God! Examine your heart, think about your life and remember you can only be spiritually minded if you are truly born again. This is another golden opportunity, surrender your life and family to Jesus and be free from the curses of the law. I pray for you today, you will not miss God in your daily pursue in Jesus name!

Prayer: Lord, keep me safe from the lies of the devil in my earthly sojourn
