DON’T IGNORE GODLY COUNSEL 2
“There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.â€
Proverbs 19:21
Main Text:
If your desire is not the counsel of God for your destiny in 2020 and beyond, you will continue to struggle with frustrating results. As a result of frustration, many conclude today that heaven helps those who help themselves, whereas that is a lie and not scriptural.
“There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.” Proverbs 19:21. The year 2020 is just a few days from now, what is the place of divine counsel in your agenda for the coming year?
If you will succeed in 2020, you need the counsel of the Lord in all you undertake. If your relationship will be sweet and beautiful, you must secure godly counsel. If you won’t be frustrated on that project or business proposal for 2020, you need to urgently approach your Maker for direction and for the revelation of His will so that you will not be frustrated at the end. Your decision to outsmart God is your decision to die prematurely. There’s no better way than the route that God has shown. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil...” Jeremiah 29:11.
Doing it alone is dangerous. That’s why you see so many domestic violence in our marriages this days. Dating is simply toying with your emotions when you can’t see through the eyes of the spirit what God has planned for you maritally. A business void of the counsel of the Lord will surely lead to frustration and the deepest regrets; no wonder the so many records of depressions. I pray that the Almighty God will show you mercy.
Do the right things as you get set to end 2019. Seek the Lord in prayers and crave for His counsel in your life in 2020.
Prayer: Father, open my eyes of understanding and grant me access to your counsel in life
